TIMBER, LAMINATE & HYBRID FLOORING
Solid Timber Flooring
One of the world’s few truly renewable resources, solid hardwood floors can be refinished an unlimited number of times, or stained to update the look. Ideal for asthmatics, solid hardwood floors do not harbour triggering allergens. Some hardwoods have a natural fire resistance, making suitable for use in bushfire-prone areas under Australian Standard AS3959.
Our solid hardwoods also have full Chain of Custody certification aligned with the Australian Forestry Standard, offering peace of the mind to clients attempting to lessen the impact of their environmental footprint. Solid flooring is available in a range of Australian hardwood species (subject to state availability) with a range of Janka (hardness) ratings.
Solid strips flooring is precision-milled and manufactured with a tongue and groove profile, including a structural secret nail pocket that is also end-matched for a tight board-to-board fit. A timber sub-floor gives easy access to the underfloor for plumbing or ducted heating, or to repair wiring.
Profile consistency across the solid strip flooring range provides extensive design options, including mixed board widths and multi-directional board laying. Once laid, solid timber flooring can handle foot traffic immendiately, providing ease of access for other trades befor a final sanding and finish.

Engineered Timber
An engineered board comprises of two or more layers of wood bonded together to create a more stable plank which is less prone to common issues caused by changes in temperature of humidity. The top layer of the plank is often
of a similar depth to that of solid board above the tongue providing an equal sandable surface.
Because of their stability, engineered boards mat be longer and wider than solid planks and they can be laid
‘floating’, increasing the ease of repair and reducing the time and cost of installation. Other installation options include gluing or stapling the boards down.
Engineered timber can be supplied pre-finished, unfinished. They can be installed over woodern subfloors or dry concrete slabs and are suitable for use above, on, or below ground level.

Laminate Timber Floors
Looking to replicate the hardwood look on a smaller budget?
Our laminate flooring is one of the most popular flooring choice. It features a wood grain appearance which is the same shape and size as wood planks. The long and wide planks result in an ideal aesthetic balance. Popular for use in kitchens, dinning rooms, the laminate effectively imitates the hardwood look.
Laminate offers the warm look and feel of the wood with advantages of a laminate floor. As the image printed on the paper layer photograph, laminate floors authentically replicate the look of wood, stone, or other surfaces with the added benefits of lower cost while maintaining a high level of durability. The decorative paper layer is infused with plastic or resin bonded to a firm core, coupled with a strong backing material which lessens the potential for warping.
The waterproof surface contains a HydroSeal coating, making the floor very easy to clean and suited for use in the bathrooms, kitchens and other wet areas in your home. The extreme water resistance of the resulting surface provides comprehensive peace of mind.

Hybrid Flooring
An option with both the look and feel of timber with waterproof and durability features of laminate or vinyl flooring, is hybrid flood. Using cutting-edge manufacturing technology, the surface layer of each board is finished with a protective embossed with a textured timber grain.
Hybrid flooring is naturally waterproof, so can be installed in wet areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundries where other options are usually less suitable. Its Durability texture surface assists hybrid flooring to look and perform like a timber or laminate flooring, making it a true hybrid flooring product. The latest technology features a waterproof limestone composite core board which has the additional benefits of being heat-resistant and stable in variable temperatures.
The PCV top (wear) layer provides high impact resistance, while also replicating the look of an authentic hardwood floor. Surface treatment also provides extra scuff and stain resistance, making cleaning breeze. Our pre-adhered underlay provides underfoot comfort and improved acoustics, and decreased installation cost.
